![]() To aid in this critical integration of agendas, IHRB’s Top 10 Business and Human Rights Issues for 2022 examines the intersection of human rights and climate action, highlighting ten priority areas demanding attention by governments, business, and civil society. ![]() That includes making business and human rights standards and approaches more relevant to ongoing climate action at every level. Looking ahead to 2022 and beyond, it is imperative that environmental and human rights agendas become holistically integrated. ![]() But huge gaps still remain in commitment and action needed to confront the threat of global warming, and to do so in ways that are consistent with international human rights standards. The 2021 UN Climate Conference in Glasgow (COP26) focused global attention on the growing urgency of the climate crisis.
